My writing is often described as supernatural, using a descriptive style implementing mood and tone to create a vivid experience for readers. Music is my creative muse and rely on long walks for inspiration. Being raised in the Chicago Northwest Suburb of Buffalo Grove, I started working at the age of 9, delivering newspapers. Waking up at 4:30 in the morning each and every day to start rolling newspapers instilled a strong work ethic in my and are some of my favorite childhood memories. My red wagon was filled with papers, walking alone in the early hours - working before going to school. Nothing can take the place of memories, independently riding a red bike to the bank each Saturday, depositing a paycheck and generous tips from neighbors. A member of the Authors Guild and supporter of The Library of Congress, you can find me playing tennis, kayaking, visiting art galleries, wineries and drinking margaritas!
I describe myself as a creative with an odd sense of humor. Even though I’m very kind and easy to get along with, I can be a little challenging to get to know at first - but undoubtedly win people over if I don’t drive them crazy first. Ideas flood my mind constantly and it took me some time to find a working creative process! My ideal place to live is a beach house on the ocean so I can listen to waves all day- doing my best to make that happen!
